The trials were fun to read about and it was actually interesting because it seemed like Morrigan wouldn’t pass every single one.Ī detail that always makes me laugh is that they call Jupiter “Jove”, which makes the book even better. I love her friendships with Hawthorn and with Cadence. Morrigan is such a great main character who is so funny and sarcastic. It made the plot very interesting, and I just wanted to keep learning about the world and the characters. My Thoughts: I loved the first book!! It was so fun to read about this new world, and I really enjoyed that they set up was with a competition to get into the league. Nevermoor characters play a big part in me enjoying the series so much. There are moments of genuine heartbreak and sadness, but the overall tone is upbeat and hopeful. Although there were some things you could see coming from miles away, many surprises along the way kept me interested throughout the series. The Nevermoor series is magical and mysterious. It’s a fantastical world that I’d love to visit. I read the first two books of the series in 2018, and I absolutely loved every second of reading it. There are some books that I can just breeze through and enjoy, and the Nevermoor series was one of them.
